There are more detailed books about wildflowers in the area. I would recommend anything this godly man writes. This book has lots of good information. Very short. There is an excitement to their lives, but it seems as if they are in a holding pattern, waiting until they return to "real life" back in, say, Ohio. All the stages are discussed candidly, from early experimentation to full-blown blackouts, the shakes, detox, etc. An emphasis on self-development, a passion to learn and grow in pursuit of mastery. He's a Shaman.Maddox is an alpha for a wolf pack and is Stephen's mate. I'm qualified to say that, because despite having an immune deficiency I have not been sick since 1971. Play this music in your car and at your home. So 4 stars for his writing but 2stars for my inability to take it all in. They made me keep reading until I finished it.
