During the 1952 election, Joe McCarthy pledged to continue his fight to remove "Communists and sex perverts" from government employment. Wider was diagnosed bipolar but refused to accept the diagnosis. Is it pronounced STEE-ven or STEF-en because at times he was called Steph, which threw me all out of whack. I honestly don't know what it is. Wider helps one get to the root causes, deals with them, and offers real hope and tools for healing.I would highly recommend this book to those who want to get well and stay well. The author has used many avenues to help himself and after trial and error has many good answers.As a retired clinical social worker and advocate for healthy life styles I’m pleased to know depression and bipolar can be successfully approached in wholistic ways in cooperation with medical doctors. Her first meeting with Arran was hilarious and boy, does she know how to keep the immortal warrior in his place!
