However, I prefer entertainingly written non-fiction and was sorely disappointed. A wonderful work about the British landscape beyond gardening and else in the urban/city context that will inspiredpeople like yours truly intro biocentric gardening, the one with flora/fauna/biodiversity in mind.. Will make you want to contact that dear friend you had when you were young, but haven't seen in ages.. Even though her primary focus was the Gold Coast areas (with a beautiful glimpse into the Tuareg culture of North Africa) she did an excellent job of giving me a sense of the sheer enormity of the continent and the seemingly rich, infinite sub-strata of languages and cultures that it holds.
